Documentary Photography After World War II, photographs were used as a medium in expressing concern as well as to arouse empathy from the public. These pictures took root in the 19th century and gained momentum in the 20th century (Abbott, ). One of the known magazines that has been employing this genre is Life Magazine. In the ’s, it viewed the camera as an negpoz.com: Olgalynch. Very well done documentary, giving what seems like a well-rounded view of living in Japan as a foreigner. I think the graciousness, the manners, the respectful way of life would be very good. I do think I would miss the acceptance of radical individualism, but everything's a trade-off/10(). I would happily recommend it to anyone who is curious about life in Japan, or perhaps even as an educational tool.
